The functions of the EC shall be to:

  • Establish the mechanism for receiving proposals from faculty
  • Encourage wide participation of different departments in proposal submission to MRU
  • Review proposals for presentation to LRAC
  • Oversee the distribution of contingency funds for activities of MRU and support LRAC approved projects.

The working mechanism of EC shall be as under:

  • The EC will meet every quarter. Minutes of quarterly meeting should be communicated to the LRAC.
  • Participate in LRAC as observer (except Nodal Officer, who is member secretary of RAC)
  • All decisions of EC by majority
  • The term of EC shall be 4 years.
